Optometrist
Ray Corbin-Simon, OD is passionate about optometry and eye health and provides patients of all ages with expert eye care at In Focus Vision Center & Eyecare in Piscataway, New Jersey. Dr. Corbin-Simon has over 25 years of experience and delivers services ranging from comprehensive eye exams and prescriptions for eyeglasses and contact lenses to diagnosing and treating conditions including dry eye, cataracts, glaucoma, and diabetes-related eye problems.
Dr. Corbin-Simon earned her doctor of optometry degree at the State University of New York (SUNY) College of Optometry in New York City. She went on to serve as an Assistant Clinical Professor for eight years. She was also the Chief of Eye Service at the East New York Diagnostic and Treatment Center and was on staff at several other hospitals in New York before moving to New Jersey with her family in 2002. Dr. Corbin-Simon is currently the President of the New Jersey Society of Optometric Physicians.
Outside of work, Dr. Corbin-Simon enjoys the theater, sports, and traveling with her husband and two sons. She mentors female students at Clara Barton High School in Brooklyn in the “Women in Government” program.
Optometrist
Dr. Talia M. Mishkin is an optometric physician with experience in primary eyecare, specialized contact lens fitting, corneal refractive therapy (CRT), myopia control, ocular surface disease and dry eye management. Dr. Mishkin's main objective is to provide patients with an optimal level of ocular and visual healthcare with a focus on patient education and preventative interventions. Dr. Mishkin earned her Doctor of Optometry from the Pennsylvania College of Optometry at Salus University, where she graduated with high honors in 2013. There she received numerous academic awards including the GP Lens Institute Award, the Noir Low Vision Award, an Allergan Travel Grant Scholarship and three New Jersey Optometric Scholarships. She currently serves on the board of the Favreau Foundation, a nonprofit organization whose goal is to improve eyecare accessibility for at risk populations. Dr. Mishkin also currently serves on the board of the Leslie Mintz Scholarship Foundation and NJ Society of Optometric Physicians. Dr. Mishkin was the recipient of New Jersey's 2021 Young OD award. In addition to balancing work and new motherhood, Dr. Mishkin loves creative outlets such as painting, crafting and baking. In her spare time she practices yoga, enjoys hiking, rock climbing and spending time with her family and friends.
